Last week I finished the recording of CD "Manuel Ponce - 24 Preludes for Guitar", as the title says, contains 24 preludes for guitar of Mexican composer Manuel Maria Ponce (1882 - 1948). The recording is based on the 23 autographs of the author and a prelude from editorial source (in G Major).
The CD is the first of three of the new project will complete by the autumn of this year that will take the title of"Novecento Guitar Preludes" and that will contain the 24 Preludes of Ponce, 12 Preludes by Boris Asaf 'ev (1884 - 1949) and 24 Preludes (Excercitium Tonale) by Ferenc Farkas (1905 - 2000).
