Tommy Emmanuel, cgp (AUS) sera en concert
à la Salle Centrale Madeleine, Genève, lundi 26 novembre 2007 à 20h00

Tommy Emmanuel est l'un des quatre guitaristes au monde à avoir reçu la distinction de "certified guitar player" (cgp). Alors, surtout ne manquez pas le concert unique de ce virtuose de la guitare acoustique fingerstyle (country, jazz, blues, rock, ainsi que ses propres compositions).


"Tommy's unique style - he calls it simply "finger style" - is akin to playing guitar the way a pianist plays piano, using all ten fingers."

In 1999, Chet Atkins honored Tommy Emmanuel the rare title of "Certified Guitar Player" for his lifetime contribution to the art of fingerstyle guitar playing, a rare honor shared by only three other people in the world (Jerry Reed, Steve Warner and John Knowles).

La phase est très claire lui concernent ! C’est un guitariste très aimé ou alors détesté ! Puisqu’il est très original, et cherche avant tout un bon contact avec le public.
